The Visionary – The Artist – The Magician

When Visions Take Form

This is probably the cacao elder I know the least about. Whether it's due to my own nature, I don't know, but this archetype has begun to enter my life more and more. I am fascinated by this Elder. This Elder holds the key to the bigger picture – a channeling of the cosmos that is infused into whoever connects with The Artist. This Elder supports us in finding a form for the formless, creates through the present moment, and helps bring visions to life.

Again, there are three descriptive names for this Elder. Three ways to understand and embrace its essence. It is a Guardian of Cacao, but rather than protecting, this Elder transmits its wisdom.

The Creative Power

This Elder leans towards The Alchemist, but where the alchemist transforms one substance into another, The Artist, The Magician, takes the invisible and creates something new. It can remain formless, or it can be given a form that others can experience. Like an artist who channels a deeper wisdom and shapes it in collaboration with the present moment.

It is a dance with the unknown. Not a creation that happens solely from the plane of thought, but a living process that requires presence. This is where pure inspiration is born – when creation doesn't happen based on what is "smart" or strategic, but from a deep, intuitive connection. This Elder has a direct connection to the universal while simultaneously having her feet firmly planted on the ground.

The Magic of Transformation

I've found it difficult to incorporate this Elder into my life. It was The Shape Shifter and Mama Cacao who were necessary for me on my journey. They were the ones who taught me to slow down – not just physically, but on a very subtle level. Because when the mind is characterized by internal disturbances from old traumas, stress, or imbalances, it can feel almost impossible to find the silence where this Elder speaks.

But for others, the connection to The Visionary, The Artist, The Magician is a natural resource. It becomes a way to express what is hidden deep within the soul – and through expression, create healing.

When Creation Becomes a Ceremony

I have consciously chosen to invite this Elder more into my life. For months, I have worked with her – and unknowingly, it was she who led me to create Sacred Cacao Guardian. Later, more intentionally, the Cacao Journal came into being.

The Visionary sees the world in images, in patterns, in grand concepts. I was in doubt whether this aspect belonged to this archetype, as it is so deeply connected with the collective – The Cacao Collective. But the difference is that while the vision in The Cacao Collective is outside of time and space, The Visionary is about visions here on Earth. For this time, for this generation – and for those who come after.

The Magician and the Subtle Power

The Magician is the one who understands the flow of energy. Where the alchemist transforms one substance into another, the magician works with the invisible. With intuition, trust, and strength. She stands firm in her truth and dares to be in the dark, unknown space – because she knows that it is precisely here that she can listen most clearly.

When you are in contact with this Guardian, it is like opening a channel to something greater. A creative power that may be intended for you alone – or perhaps to be shared with the world. But what is created in this energy feels supported, as if the universe whispers in your ear and guides your hands.

What Longs to Be Created?

Creativity is misunderstood. At least, I've had my misunderstandings – believing it was only about drawing, painting, singing. But creativity is not an action. It is a state. A connection to the present moment where something is formed and takes its place in the world. It can be words, a video, an event, a mandala, a crystal grid, a business, a ceremony.

When you step into this Elder's energy, you can feel how your creative power awakens. How you are affected by what you create, and how it changes you – to a greater or lesser extent.
