What do you actually do when you drink cacao alone? 🤎
There's something special about sitting in a circle with others and diving into the cacao journey. The effect of mirror neurons and co-regulation, which is so beautiful when enjoying cacao together.
.. But enjoying cacao in your own space can also be truly impactful.
At least, it's something I often enjoy and need. Especially in a world that easily pulls me out of my focus, with children demanding my attention, practical matters, thoughts, and modern society moving fast, making it possible to be "on" almost 24/7.
But back to: what do you do when you enjoy cacao alone at home?

I have also made a short and ultra-brief video, 1 min & 22 seconds, where you can see me having a cacao moment alone; it's just one example among many.
This is what I did in the video above, and an example of what you can do yourself once you've comfortably settled down with your cup of cacao.
Start by breathing through your nose
It calms your nervous system & increases sensitivity
Feel your body
Place a hand on your heart, feel your face, your feet (it makes you more present)
Connect with your cacao
Smell, feel the cup in your hands, use your senses.
Connect with cacao spirit
Ask for guidance, be grateful, ask to be held
Set your intention with your cup of cacao
Here I set mine by whispering it aloud. It felt more powerful in the moment.
Take a moment just to be
Do nothing. This is precisely where you can simply focus on your breathing and allow yourself to get on the same frequency as the cacao.
Afterwards, in the short video, I felt drawn to pull a card from Sacred Rebels Oracle Cards, as I felt like sharpening my intention.
"What is my resource?" I asked the Sacred Cycle Oracle cards.
Then I drew and tuned into the messages to see what resonated with me.
What would I take with me and focus on.
Sat for a bit and started a Tibetan humming meditation, as my daughter slept long enough for this to be possible that day 🥰
So simple, right?
And it also allows what needs to come through to you to have space, when you're not constantly adding more and more.
