This is especially true when it comes to goddesses who are part of a living religion, such as the Hindu goddesses or the indigenous goddesses - this multicultural oracle set would not have made sense if these goddesses had been omitted. The choices for the portrayal of goddesses are made based on a commitment to the Great Goddess, and how She expresses Herself in every woman, in every person, and we wanted this set to show each goddess as a symbolic archetype within a unified whole rather than the actual traditional goddess.
