Tea Tree (also known as Melaleuca) has cleansing properties that are good for skincare and for your nails. It can also be a fantastic aid for skin irritations - but always test it first on a less sensitive area to see how you experience it.

The cooling effect can be delightful on a warm day. It's especially nice if you're wearing closed shoes, to take a moment to refresh your feet and feel the cooling effect.

I've personally found it helpful for mosquito bites, as the cooling effect feels soothing for the itch.

Tea Tree also supports you emotionally

• Use the oil when you need energetic cleansing: In your ceremonial cacao ritual, when you want to say goodbye and release the old and welcome the new (especially during a Full Moon)
  
  
• Supports in setting energetic boundaries: if you feel that someone acts like "energy vampires" - you know, where they connect to you and drain your energy because they just keep taking and taking and taking. Here, you can use the oil to create an energetic boundary between you and them.

How do I use doTERRA oils?

You can use the oils in a diffuser or oil burner and let the scent spread through your rooms. You can dab a single drop on your wrists, forehead, chest, or other energy points on your body that call to you. There's no right or wrong way. What you feel is always the right way.

You can also mix the oils in a fragrance-free base oil to create your own favorite scented body oil.
