Cacao Moment with Introductory Kit

When you invite the oils from the Introductory Kit into your cacao ceremony, you can choose an oil according to your intention. Lavender creates calm and helps you land in the present moment, perfect for a meditative cacao session. Lemon uplifts the mind and brings clarity and joy when you want energy and focus in the ritual. Peppermint awakens the senses and can be used when you need alertness and freshness in the body. Apply the oil diluted to wrists, temples, or pulse points, or diffuse it in the room. The scents envelop you and support both emotional balance and physical well-being as you enjoy your cacao.

How do I use doTERRA oils?

Use them as fragrant aromatherapy that opens your senses and awakens your emotions.

You can use the oils in a diffuser or oil burner and let the scent spread through your rooms. You can dab a single drop on your wrists, forehead, chest, or other energy points on the body that call to you. There's no right or wrong. What you feel is always right.

You can also mix the oils in a fragrance-free carrier oil to create your own favorite scented body oil.

Why doTERRA oils?

It's incredibly important to me that the things I use every day, and which I use in my cacao and for my daily rituals, are of the highest quality. doTERRA's oils are exquisite, and I love using them.

What is doTERRA?

The name doTERRA comes from Latin and can be translated as "Gifts of the Earth."

Citrus oils & sunlight - be aware

Never apply citrus essential oils directly to the skin without diluting them with some form of oil (almond, coconut, shea oil, etc.).

Citrus oils have astringent properties, meaning they have the ability to renew and strengthen our skin. At the same time, they reduce pores, oil, and signs of fatigue.

So while they are wonderful for skincare, they also make them photosensitive, so their properties can cause chemical burns if applied in concentrated form before sun exposure.

It is recommended to wait up to 12 hours after applying in concentrated form before direct sun exposure. 

However, I would always advise you not to apply them in concentrated form, but to use a lovely blend oil as mentioned earlier in this section.
It can be a good idea to apply them to a less sensitive area such as the inside of the wrist to see how your skin reacts to the oil before possibly using them in your facial skincare.

Warning

Possibility of skin hypersensitivity to the product. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or undergoing treatment. Always avoid contact with eyes, inner ear, and other sensitive areas of the body. Never apply the oil undiluted directly to the skin.
