Harvest Spice – where the properties of herbal plants meet

Harvest Spice is much more than a cozy autumn scent. The blend combines six powerful plants: cassia, clove, eucalyptus, cedarwood, nutmeg, and cinnamon bark – and each has its own story and uses.

Cinnamon and cassia are warm, aromatic herbal plants that have been used for centuries in cooking and various plant-based traditions. Clove, among other things, has a long history in oral care, while eucalyptus is known for its cleansing properties. Cedarwood contributes with its grounding and relaxing properties, and together the plants create a blend that can be used for the home, body, and those times when you need a little extra warmth and presence.

Scent Profile

Warm, spicy, sweet, and lightly woody. Cinnamon, cassia, and clove lead with their intense spicy notes, while cedarwood provides depth and eucalyptus adds a fresher green dimension.

Emotional Properties

• Eucalyptus for a boost: Eucalyptus is the fresh counterpoint to the heavy spices and is highlighted by dōTERRA for its mood-lifting properties. It is therefore particularly good when you want an atmosphere that feels both warm and vibrant – for example, in the morning, during creative moments, or when the home needs a little new energy.

• Cedarwood for calm and grounding: Cedarwood has a deep woody profile and is known for creating a relaxing and grounding experience, both aromatically and when applied topically. In Harvest Spice, it provides a calmer base for the more intense spice oils, making the blend suitable for relaxation, reflection, and evening rituals.

Physiological properties and practical application

• Cinnamon – for warming massage and oral care: Cinnamon bark is a very concentrated spice oil, which dōTERRA describes, among other things, as suitable in a diluted massage blend. Cinnamon also has a long history in oral care and is used in products for the mouth and gums. Cinnamon bark must always be diluted for topical use, as it is a potent oil.

• Clove – cleansing and ideal for oral care: Clove has been used for centuries in dental and oral care, among other things, and dōTERRA highlights its ability to cleanse teeth and gums and freshen breath. The powerful clove oil is also a classic spice oil in cooking. In Harvest Spice, it contributes a particularly intense, warm spicy character.

• Eucalyptus – cleansing and refreshing: Eucalyptus contains, among other things, 1,8-cineole, which is an important part of the oil's characteristic chemistry. dōTERRA describes eucalyptus as cleansing for the skin and refreshing in use. Therefore, it can be used topically in diluted blends or aromatically when you want a fresher and more revitalizing experience.

How to use Harvest Spice

• Diffuse 2–4 drops to create a warm and inviting atmosphere in the home.
• Mix 5 drops with approx. 10 ml carrier oil for massage.
• Mix 5 drops with approx. 5 ml carrier oil for a fragrant bath.
• Mix 1 drop with 10 drops carrier oil as a personal, spicy scent.
• Add a drop to your body lotion for a warm, spicy body experience.
