The oil is sweet, uplifting, fresh, and calming just by smelling it. This oil possesses the same qualities.

I always have this oil at home because it's so mild and soothing. Adaptiv is inspired by the English word "adapt". Created with the intention that you can strengthen your peace to adapt to life's circumstances, new insights, and what you encounter within yourself.

Therefore, I often use it as an integration oil in my spaces with meditation, ceremonial cacao, and body-oriented trauma therapy. Because integration is so important in therapeutic contexts, so that we don't just repeat life in exactly the same way after a deep process. But can learn to land in the new, which can sometimes feel so new that it also feels empty.

How do I use doTERRA Touch?

doTERRA Touch combines essential oil in your favorite scent with coconut oil so you can easily apply it to your body. It comes with a smart roll-on, making it easy to use, and you won't get oil everywhere. And it's easy to carry in your bag when you're on the go.

Use doTERRA Touch before your cacao session as fragrant aromatherapy that opens your senses and awakens your emotions. Or use it throughout the day for extra support or well-being.

For example, apply doTERRA Touch to your wrists, temples, back of the neck, bottom of the feet, pulse points, or wherever calls to you, to experience the oil's effect. There is no right or wrong. What you feel is always right.

Citrus oils & sunlight - be aware

Never use citrus essential oils directly on the skin without diluting them with some form of oil (almond, coconut, shea butter, etc.).

Citrus oils have astringent properties, meaning they have the ability to renew and strengthen our skin. At the same time, they reduce pores in the skin, oil, and signs of fatigue.

So while they are wonderful for skin care, they also make them photosensitive, so their properties can cause chemical burns if you apply them in their concentrated form before going out into the sun.

It is recommended to wait up to 12 hours after applying in concentrated form before being in direct sunlight.

However, I would always advise you not to apply concentrated form, but to use a lovely blending oil as mentioned earlier in this section.
It may be a good idea to apply them to a less sensitive area such as the inside of the wrist and see how your skin reacts to the oil before possibly using them in your facial skincare.

Possible skin sensitivity to the product. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant, nursing, or under medical care. Always avoid contact with eyes, inner ear, and other sensitive areas of the body. Never use the oil undiluted directly on the skin.
