Trauma Transforming Presence Meditation
- Do you want to experience a greater presence with your body and Cacao Spirit when you drink cacao?
- Or do you want to be inspired to incorporate active meditation into your life, considering that a trauma-sensitive approach is only possible if you are overwhelmed by seated meditation?
- Do you want to train your ability to observe yourself, your thoughts, and feelings - so you can embrace yourself - before reacting in an unhelpful way?
In this meditation, I will guide you all the way to explore yourself, "befriend your body," and train your presence with yourself.
Your ability to be present in the moment comes from finding safety, learning to sense - especially if you have experienced traumatic situations, prolonged stress, or haven't given yourself the opportunity for a long time.
You can acquire the ability to observe through these techniques from meditation. Precisely so you can observe your feelings and thoughts, the more often and more you practice it. Like a muscle that needs to be trained - the same applies to your presence and "catching yourself" before you react, rather than acting consciously - with love for everything within you.
This meditation is for you if:
- You want to train your ability to be more present in the moment - especially when you tend to zone out into thoughts, daydreams, or memories
- You want to train your presence with your body, so your life begins to be more present on a bodily level - rather than mental chatter, to-do lists, control, practical tasks, and "trying to figure it out"
- It gives you a foundation for being able to release on a subtle, bodily level because you don't need to know the root of your problems - it is healing by sensing and feeling (part of the trauma-informed therapy approach)
- Surrendering is easier when you have trust. Although I don't ask you to do this mentally, you are guided to do so on a subtle, bodily level = you embody it without forcing it with your mind. How beautiful, right?
But allow yourself to trust your experience. The intention behind the meditation is this, but perhaps something else will come through when you do it <3

I will explain the background of the meditation, which will make it easier for you to surrender to my guidance.

Origin of the meditation
This active meditation was developed by me - Camille Namaste in connection with my work in trauma-informed breathwork (www.camillenamaste.dk).
Here, I combine elements and techniques from Somatic Experiencing, trauma-sensitive approach, constellation work, breathwork, and Zen therapy.
Guidance
I explain the meditation in the video.
Subsequently, you will be guided as fully into your presence as is possible for you on the day.
Before doing the active meditation
If you want more depth in your meditation, it requires focus beforehand.
Therefore, I recommend that you set an intention.
Ask yourself: “What is my intention for doing this meditation?”
What do you wish to set in motion in your life, invite in, connect with?
Take it with you as if you were putting it in your backpack and embarking on a journey into the landscape of active meditation.

After the meditation, you can look back at your thoughts before and ask yourself the same questions afterwards. Perhaps it won't be necessary because you'll feel it.
