Osho Kundalini Meditation
- Do you want to de-stress, release grief, and nourish yourself – without being harsh on your sensitive nervous system?
- Or do you want to be inspired to incorporate active meditation into your life, working deeply with opening your energetic heart and calming your nervous system?
This active meditation focuses on activating your body's self-healing intelligence, which releases physical tensions, unresolved emotions, and allows your life energy to unfold (even more).
But it is all done with respect for your nervous system's capacity to keep up, so you feel grounded, integrate immediately, and release – without needing to know what it is.
Your body creates the release itself – you simply allow it by doing the meditation.
What do you get out of this meditation?
This meditation is for you who:
- Shock, trauma, and stress are stored in your body if you (unconsciously) inhibit your body's self-healing powers – in this meditation, you create SPACE to release what you have held on to.
- You can bring the intention of what you want to let go of or simply allow your body, without needing to know what.
- Acts as a de-stressor and calms the mind by relaxing the body.
- Great for grounding you if you experience stress, anxiety, fear, or too many racing thoughts.
- Opens up your sensuality and sexuality – to nourish your body and energy system.
But allow yourself to trust your experience. The intention behind the meditation is this, but perhaps there is something else that wants to come through to you when you do it.
The origin of the meditation
This active meditation was developed by Osho. Mystic, philosopher, ascended master from India, where he developed active meditations throughout the 70s and 80s – with roots in Eastern philosophy, focusing on adapting this to Western people.
The meditation combines active movement, shaking, and sensing your kundalini energy – your life force.
Guidance
I explain the meditation in the video.
Afterwards, I will do it with you.
Before you do the active meditation
If you want more depth in your meditation, it requires focus beforehand.
Therefore, I recommend that you set an intention.
Ask yourself: “What is my intention for doing the meditation?”
What do you want to set in motion in your life, invite in, connect with?
Take it with you as if you were putting it in your backpack and embarking on a journey into the landscape of active meditation.
Before/after snapshot
Scan yourself to feel the full effect of the active meditation.
How is your body feeling right now?
What emotions are occupying you right now?
What are you telling yourself right now?
After the meditation, you can look back at your thoughts from before, and ask yourself the same questions afterwards. Perhaps it won't be necessary, because you'll feel it.
What did this meditation give you?
I would love to hear from you, so you are always welcome to write – also if you have questions, so you can get the most out of it.
