These abalone shells are carefully collected from sea snails that have lived in protected marine areas – without disturbing wild populations. This means that the natural rhythm and balance of the sea are preserved, while we can receive these beauties with gratitude and respect.

We only choose shells that have been harvested under regulated conditions – and we receive them as ceremonial objects, not as mere things. Each shell is unique and carries its own story from the depths of the sea.

Practical info and variation

The abalone shell can be used to burn herbs and smudge. You can lean an incense stick against the edge while it burns (always remember to be present and never leave anything burning unattended).

✨ Size: Each shell is a natural product, and sizes vary. The smallest are approximately 5–7 cm (2–3”) at the widest point, while the largest can be up to 15–18 cm (6–7”) wide.

🌊 Appearance: As this is a natural material, variations in color, shape, and surface will occur. Small "imperfections" such as chips, scratches, or unevenness around the edge are completely normal and are considered part of the shells' character. Some shells may have slight algae deposits, which can be easily rinsed away with water.
