What do you get out of this meditation?
This meditation is for you who:
- Wishes to expand your emotional container/capacity to be more present in life
- Has experienced or often experiences stress that is difficult to cope with
- Wants to awaken your body, your energy, your clarity
- Wants to connect more with your inner self and your emotions by giving them space for a while
- Wants to connect with the earth, allow yourself to be held, and connect upwards (combine heaven and earth)
But allow yourself to trust your experience. This is the intention behind the meditation.
Origin of the meditation
This active meditation was developed by Osho. Mystic, philosopher, ascended master from India, where in the 70s and 80s he developed active meditations - rooted in Eastern philosophy with a focus on adapting this for Western people.
The meditation combines active breathing with a focus on your 7 energy centers - chakras.

Before you do the active meditation
If you want more depth in your meditation, it requires focus beforehand.
So I recommend that you set an intention.
Ask yourself: "What is my intention for doing the meditation?"
What do you want to set in motion in your life, invite in, get in touch with?
Take it with you as if you were putting it in your backpack and embarking on a journey into the landscape of active meditation.
